From Starting Over to Outworking the Odds
In 2020, like so many others, I had plans, dreams, and momentum. I was ready to start my own business — a new chapter built on independence and creativity. I had found peace and inspiration in beautiful Lake Tahoe, a place that gave me clarity and motivation to build something meaningful.
Then, the world changed.
When the pandemic hit, everything I had started began to unravel. For health reasons, I had to move back home to care for family and rebuild from the ground up. I left behind not just a place I loved, but a version of myself that felt free and focused. It was hard — emotionally, financially, and mentally. The path forward wasn’t clear anymore, but one thing stayed with me: my desire to help others bring order, calm, and clarity to the chaos of daily work and life.
Over time, I learned to adapt — to find purpose in the middle of uncertainty. I discovered Notion, systems, and digital tools that gave me structure again. They became not only how I organized my life but how I began helping others organize theirs.
That’s how Outwork Services was born — a blend of my story and my mission.
To help small business owners, creatives, and entrepreneurs outwork the overwhelm by simplifying their systems, streamlining their tasks, and getting their time and focus back.
Today, I’m proud to say I’m building something real — not just a business, but a bridge between who I was and who I’m becoming. My journey reminds me that setbacks aren’t the end — they’re a setup for something stronger.
Where I’m going:
I’m growing Outwork Services into a creative operations and virtual assistant studio — offering admin support, project management, and Notion setups that help business owners work smarter, not harder. My goal is to expand into digital templates, client systems, and creative planning tools that empower others to find peace and productivity — just like I did when I needed it most.
